The Town Furlong Boarding Cattery site was based on an existing web site that had been developed by the customer some years earlier. |

The new site was intended to update the information on the site and present it in a more eye-catching style, to support a paper based advertising campaign and to provide additional information to potential customers who found details of the cattery on our PawsAway web site which specifically promotes catteries and boarding kennels in the UK. |

The attractive logo used by the cattery was incorporated into the front page. The colours used throughout the site reflect the logo, with navigation buttons on each page providing a splash of colour. |

Information on the home page is kept to a minimum, ensuring that contact details are clearly displayed, and available to search engine 'spiders' to index the site. |

|
Photographs from the old site were incorporated in the new design, having been optimised for rapid downloading. A new map was created for the How to Find Us page, specifically to show the location of the cattery, replacing a link to an online mapping site. |

|
|
A new domain name was purchased for the site, replacing the old freespace address to give a more professional appearance. This also provided an email address without the inclusion of the freespace hosts name. |
| A hits counter was also included on the homepage, allowing the owners of the site to measure the success of the site in attracting pet owners. |
